If the creators really wanted people to post pictures, they would have put that option in when your creating a post. Instead of going to a whole other site to get the code or whatever you call it.

Many things done on social networks can be deemed pointless. I have people on my FB all day describing every damned thing they do. While I may think it is pointless, other people constantly click the like button. So to each their own.
