Traditionally, women were considered the weaker sex. But now we're finding out that females are the stronger sex, and have been all along. In the future, women will have the upper hand. First off, the federal government spends much much more money on female health issues than male (hell, just look up how much money is spent on brest cancer, alone, and compare that figure to the money that is spent on prostate cancer). Second, women go to the doctore more than men. Whenever I get a cold and I talk to my mother, she says "GO TO THE DOCTOR" one million times. I'm not going to the damn doctor for a cold. I hate going to the doctor (perfect way to waste a day). Of course, most women have no problem going to the doctor. My muscles are firm and hard and his are not nearly the same. He will stair at my flexed muscles and knows that his are not as strong. Thank you for the website. MelbaOct 25 2005 6:27pm Me and my wife started to work out about 6 years ago. We were then 40 years old. I am 5'10 and my wife 5'9, we were about the same weight then, around 170 pounds. Three times a week we went to the gym together. From the start I could lift heavier weights with my upper body and my wife heavier with her legs. I noticed that my wife could do many more reps than me, that made her workouts better than mine. She was soon lifting the same weights as me (about 10 months after we started). And since then I never caught up. She really enjoyed working out. I had noticed already before we started to work out that her endurance was far better than mine. She could for instance carry our children more than twice as long as me. I was sometimes amazed when I watched her doing different house cores all the time having a child at her hips. Today my wife is a lot stronger than me, she is heavier mainly because she has bigger muscles than me (I lost weight as well). I know that men are generally physically stronger than women but if women work out hard and are of similar size as the male she probably will become stronger since she has better endurance. The biggest of men will always be stronger than the women but I am sure if a big strong man is armwrestling a big strong woman, he will win the first 20-30 matches after that she will start catcing up. From the start she had superior endurance but wasn't as strong in the upper body but she did have stronger legs from the start. She was adding 1/4 of an inch of muscle to her arms every month and even more to her legs. We stayed at a gym for about a year and we bought our own equipment & weights for home. It's been more than two years now and she is in fact more muscular and stronger than I am. The shocker was that she added inches to her muscles while mine became toned and slighly larger. Looking back at this it's easy to see that her muscles developed much faster and her upper body strength was gaining faster than I could and soon she was stronger, within a year. Her biceps were slightly larger than mine after about 14 months, she had more endurance and was now ahead in raw strength. She now has way bigger leg muscles and her arms have larger muscles as well. It's tiring but we do it every day for sports. I have a bigger bicep than my older brother and he's embarrised because I can beat him at arm wrestling. His bicep is thin and flat while mine has become bigger and like a baseball. My muscle gets bigger after workouts and expands as I curl my arm compared to his. when he flexes it stays thin and scrawny and only shortens as he curls. We workout together and I'm bigger than she is but pound for pound she is stronger than me. She is also closing this strength gap faster than I can continue to gain strength. I'm 5'10 inches at 170 lbs and she is 5'6" at 156 lbs. She shows more endurance and I have more strength as far as lifting heavy but like I said she is closing the power gap. Comparatively, men take longer to process information than women because their brains have less neurons available for activity and the connections between those neurons are fewer in number than those found in women’s brains. It is hypothesized that because of this, women constantly operate on a superior level of awareness than men, as their brains are always taking in more sensory information. Because of the limited processing in male brains, they are more likely to need a rest period than in females. The study proved that many male brains frequently enter a reboot phase as they become overloaded easier than female brains, which aren’t as limited in terms of calculation. This phenomenon is similar to the fact that a computer with less RAM and a slower processing speed is more likely to lock up than one which is more powerful. In addition to processing speed and greater sensory intake, females also have a larger corpus callosum, which connects both brain hemispheres.
