Should George W. Bush be appointed permanently to the position of Commander In Chief?

Question: After protecting the American people from further attacks, it is obvious Bush is the greatest president in history. Since there are no term limits in Congress, it would not be unreasonable to appoint a permanent president. Should G.W. Bush be our permanent president?

Hillary Clinton becoming president would be a total disaster for the USA.

No WMD's no links to 9/11 yet we sent troops into Iraq instead of fighting terrorists. The surplus budget is now a huge deficit budget. The dollar has lost over 50%of it's value agaisnt all other major currencies in the world. There are no exceptions to this. We abandoned Afghanistan even after promising them we wouldn't. Bush took unprecedented positive world opinion rates regarding the US and managed to turn the world against us. We were the ones who were attacked yet now we are universally perceived as the biggest threat to world peace. We are regarded as the bad guy. How could one administration do that? We no longer recognize the Geneva convention, we have removed ourselves from the world court. We are, in fact more a rogue nation that Iran! Which is a democracy by the way. Saudi Arabia isn't neither is Pakistan. What does Bush stand for? Anything? Anyway, he didn't do much of a job protecting Americans on Sept 11, 2001. There is no other president who presided over a disaster such as that, so I don't even know what you are yammering about? What is it you admire about Bush?

George Bushes politics of fear have been compared to those of Pinochet. Is this what you want? An American dictator? Well fortunately, it's not going to happen.

George Bush will save the world from terror.

How? What has Bush done that shows courage. You Bush supporters (and there aren't many of you left)say this but you never give examples. Does he support democracy like he says. No. He supports Saudi and Pakistan. Pakistan used to be a democracy BEFORE Bush but not now. He opposes Palestinian ELECTED officials as terrorists. Is it how he managed Katrina? Is it how he couldn't get enough of the camera when he actually believed Iraqis would welcome a foreign occupying army but now he seems to hide from the media. When was the last time he mentioned bin Laden? Why doesn't he remind us anymore of how we won't stop until bin Laden is captured? Even after bin Ladens latest recording ridiculing and mocking our society, Bush says nothing. 5 years ago he wouldn't have ignored bin Laden propoganda. Bush was president on Sept 11, 2001. That's fact. You brainwashed evangelical sheep and whine all you want in your delusional, paranoid fashion about the mythical left-wing media but the 9/11 attacks weren't a liberal lie. It really did happen and it really did happen while Bush the incompetent was president.

Republicans can't support Bush because he's not a republican. Republicans stand for small gov't and responsible budgets. Bush has expanded gov't posts and created a staggering deficit of some 450 billion. That's a deficit, not a debt.

Bush is a Republican. But he is not a conservative. There is a big difference.

Bush is a liberal pretending to be conservative. Bush was more liberal than Clinton.
