WHAT A BIZARRE COINCIDENCE!!! Just like Sammy Davis Jr (one of Frank Sinatra's "Rat Pack" members) and Jim Henson (creator of the Muppets) who both died on the same day in 1990. TOTALLY BIZARRE!!! I can relate to both icons of entertainment noted above by the op: I saw Michael Jackson in person when I attended the 30th Annual Grammy Awards Telecast in 1988 at Radio City Music Hall in New York by personal invitation only (it was NOT a contest winning!!!). He was doing his big hit "Man in the Mirror." I never saw Farrah Fawcett in person but during her heyday, my (then) blonde, blue-eyed girlfriend copied Fawcett's trademark "do" (just like millions of other young ladies of that era did). I used to see alot of stars when I worked as a movie extra. I`ll never forget when I was on the set of forget paris when I had to ask Billy Crystal where the restroom was. As far as MJ and Farrah, it was a coincidence. We knew Farrah was dying, but not Michael. IMO he was dying big time.... AnonymousJun 27 2009 7:55am I used to know someone who gave me a ticket to the 30th Grammys telecast but he was not a celebrity or anyone well-known. Being at the Grammys is just like being at a rock concert (HIGH DECIBEL!!!). I got a real kick out of seeing stars like Stevie Wonder (who did not perform that night) and host Billy Crystal but it was quite strange seeing Dr. Ruth Westheimer in attendance walking down the aisle to her seat. That shows that even the "guru of sex advice" enjoys rock music!!!
