What do women find most rewarding when they can overpower their husband or boyfriend?

Question: Now that the long hours in the gym have paid off, what is the most enjoyable part of showing your husband or boyfriend you?re stronger and more muscular than he is?

My husband's biceps are average at 13 inches. Eight months ago we bought home workout equipment and weights and I've been using bodybuilding workouts. Within eight months my biceps have really developed and are 15 1/2 inches now! They started at about 12 inches, plus my legs are bigger and stronger. I enjoy comparing my muscles to that of my husband's and the look on his face when he sees I'm more muscular and the differance in a particular muscle's size or hardness. My husband doesn't build muscle fast like me and I guess it's body type or genetics. He is giving in to reality now but I can tell this scares him. So for me the most rewarding part is that of comparing to him and reversing the weaker sex by such a degree that it's sort of shocking. I worked hard but it still seems easy for me to become stronger than him.

With many men, it "goes against the grain" when the weaker one is the one with the penis and the stronger one is the one with the vagina. This is hard if not impossible for many men to accept.

So it seems to me that sometimes girls/women can have more testosterone than boys/men. A middle aged woman can have higher levels than a man and often do and a girl involved in rugged sports might have higher levels compared to a boy who plays only vidio games. Little wonder girls are looking stronger than boys. I've read that women now out-number men in health clubs and gyms and the reason they go has changed. It's now strength training over losing weight! If men are losing testosterone and women are gaining it, what will happen in the future?

can you tell me anyone why have woman such a powerful huge muscular legs compare to us-men?i mean everytime i see naked female body anywhere close to me,beach etc,im just staring at those huge thighs twice of my size,as well as woman calves size its just me wrong or are woman realy stronger?i just cant imagine how would i beat average woman physicaly if they have musles like this on legs.size of their thighs scares me!

The female pelvis is much larger and wider and that can be an advantage in muscle support and more area. The male pelvis being narrow has a speed advantage when running because the thigh sockets only needs to move in two directions while the female moves in three directions. The wider female hips can accommodate larger muscles with respect to equal height to a man. The muscle attachments at the pelvis is farther apart in women again adding room to grow. Some studies show that women have longer more flexable muscles, more muscle length can be advantageous when developed to full potential by increasing cross sectional area or girth. The thicker the muscle the greater the strength. Have you noticed the ladies with big calves have more length compared to average men?

The Department of Kinesiology and Applied Physiology, at the University of Colorado in Boulder in 2000 found that female muscle had 75% more endurance over male muscle. The study found that women outlasted men by an average of 75 per cent during muscle contractions under a load. But rather than some kind of motivational effect, the study found the difference was due to some feature of the muscles. In studies carried out at the University of Jyvaskyla in Finland, for example, 10 male and nine female strength athletes (powerlifters and body-builders) performed 20 maximal squat lifts, with three minutes of recovery between each lift. After the 20 lifts, the fatigued leg muscles of both males and females had lost about 20-24% of their maximal strength. However, various indicators of muscular power favoured the females. For one thing, the force-time curve  an indicator of muscles ability to contract powerfully and quickly  changed negatively by 28% in the males over the course of the workout but dropped by only 19% in the females. Females also recovered from the 20-lift session more quickly. One hour after the workout, female lifters leg muscles could generate about 92% as much force as before the session, whereas male muscles were just 79% as strong. Why was the fatigue greater and recovery slower in males? Part of the problem seemed to be that the male lifters nervous systems became less responsive over the course of the workout. From the first to the 20 lift, activation of leg muscles by nerve cells fell by 20-25% in males but held fairly steady in females. While its not clear why male nerve activation should deteriorate more quickly, it is clear that females lose less of their muscular power during heavy-duty resistance training and seem to recover more rapidly once a tough session is over. My husband still can beat me armwrestling righhanded. sometimes I win using the left. I can flip him with either leg when we legwrestle, and a month ago we wrestled, and after a long battle I wore him down and pinned him. we're about the same weight, but he's an inch taller.

Mrjean, my husband used to beat me at armwrestling, not that we did that very often. Six months into my gym membership I beat him with right and left arms. He hasn't wanted to try a rematch and I'm stronger then when I won and I've gained muscle. I asked him to wrestle but he declined. I've thought about going ahead in bed and wrestle him like it or not! Should I? I don't think he could beat me and he knows it.

I lost my office job last year and took a job at a ranch and farm supply. I've been lifting feed sacks, hay bales, lumber, and concrete bags for about one year. My husband is kind of in shock at my muscles now. I flexed for him the first time ever! My shoulders, traps, and lats are bigger than his! Our arms are the same size but my muscles are hard and defined next to his. If I hadn't lost my job this would never had happened, so I'm glad it happened. It was AWESOME flexing in front of him and actually seeing who's more muscular! The GIRLS ARE NOW! Work out girls! I started weight lifting!

As reported in the Archieves of Internal Medicine, researchers at the VA Puget Sound Health Care System and the University of Washington at Seattle. 19% of the men were classified as having low testosterone levels. 28% were classified as equivocal, meaning they had an equal number of test results in the low and normal ranges. 52.7% were classified as having testosterone levels in the normal range. Men in "andropause" exercise but see little to no improvement in muscle development or definition.

I women, testosterone levels can climb when consuming foods that are high in sugar and refined carbohydrates increase the amount of glucose in the bloodstream; in turn, insulin production is stimulated, which promotes the production of androgens in the ovaries. A woman can have twice the testosterone as a man who is low or even normal for his age 40-50 years. Many women going through "the change" can have very high levels for years. It may seem like a curse but the high testosterone will build muscles at middle age in women when men the same age can't and even decline in muscle mass.

I am a guy who is not all too wild about a woman feeling my arm give way during an armwrestling match. That's why I remain afraid to challenge a 4-foot-10, 257-lb, 20-year-old young lady I encountered (her true height and weight) who has huge, solid, "Popeye-like" forearms. My long tiny right arm (my so-called "good" arm) on my 6-foot stick-thin frame would definitely give way to her gargantuan arm which I know she could also use to easily lift me off the ground, perhaps even over her head!!!

Fatigue Resistance: An Intriguing Difference in Gender Brenda Critchfield, M.S. and Len Kravitz, Ph.D. In the past decade, Barry and Enoka expand that the definition of muscle fatigue in research corresponds to an exercise-induced decline in the capability of the muscle to generate force or power, regardless of whether or not the task can be continued. According to this description, muscle fatigue slowly starts after the onset of sustained activity, even though an individual can continue performing a muscular task. Subjects were matched for absolute strength of the target muscles. Researchers have also found females had a lower MAP (MAP). MAP is the average blood pressure during a cardiac cycle. Male and female subjects matched for absolute strength of the target muscles also showed less muscle mass involvement in females (at same relative work load). Female muscle was producing as much strength as a larger male muscle with te female muscle showing greater endurance. Numerous studies have shown women have a greater resistance to fatigue than men; therefore, women are able to sustain continuous and intermittent muscle contractions at low to moderate intensities longer than men. researchers have shown differences in the time to fatigue between men and women when they are matched for maximal voluntary contraction of the target muscle site. When testing the elbow flexor muscles, Hunter et al. (2004) showed that women had a greater time to task failure during intermittent submaximal muscle contractions than their strength matched male counterparts. These findings are consistent with Fulco et al. (1999) for intermittent contractions of the adductor pollicis muscle performed by strength matched males and females. During sustained muscle contraction, the neuromuscular system strives to maintain force production by increasing the recruitment of additional non-fatigued motor units, recruiting larger motor units, and increasing the firing rate of activated motor units (Thompson et al. 2007; Yoon et al. 2007). Electromyography is able to detect muscle contraction and recruitment by the electrical impulses sent through the body for muscle contraction. Differences in the activation of recruitment patterns within a target muscle and its agonists will affect the fatigue rate of that muscle group. Some investigators have found a difference in the way muscles were utilized, and that the recruitment patterns are different in men than in women. Some fascinating physiological and metabolic fatiguability characteristics exist in the submaximal muscle force producing capacity of women. It should be noted that the fatigue differences between men and women are more apparent with 'fit' females, as low fit individuals (males and females) tend to fatigue rather rapidly due to the untrained state of their musculature. However, as many personal trainers and fitness professionals have observed in their professional experience, these physiological phenomenon help to scientifically explain why moderately to highly trained females are very capable of doing more advanced multiple-set and multiple-exercise program designs, as well as completing more frequent resistance training workouts during the week.

I find strength over my husband a turn on! When I discovered I was gaining strength faster than my husband when we would workout, I thought how is that possible? As months went by I realized I could workout harder than he could and do more of most any exercise. He's 5'10" and I'm 5'6" and we both weigh about 165 lbs. But we trade off weights, machine or free weights. We use the same and we're really the same in strength without hurting ourselves I can match him in upper body now and have 10 percent more leg strength. So I'm in the process of passing him up in strength probably because of better muscular endurance and taking advantage of that edge over my husband. When we workout until failure I can usually beat him with more reps. This might be why I'm passing him up in strength.

Here's a biological fact most people are not aware of. Women who are going through pre-menopause have the second highest levels of testosterone second to men in their prime. As women get older, they produce less estrogen and more testosterone. Women who are in menopause and post-menopause have the highest levels of testosterone. I'm in my late fourties and I'm in the high testosterone menopause group. I didn't understand this until last year. My husband and I have tried to stay in shape and in the last few years I've put on a lot of muscle while my husband's muscles shrank. I now have a more muscular physique compared to his at it's best twenty years ago! Last year after not sleeping and becoming more agressive toward my husband, I saw my Dr. Anyway and my testosterone levels were high but estrogen levels were low but not bad. My husband like millions of men has low testosterone and I have not told him that mine is more than twice his level. My doctor said it was better to leave my testosterone and treat the estrogen with natural supplements and that the strength I have is a result of my hormones and I was in perfect health and better off than having low testosterone menopause or lower estrogen. My husband tried hormone supplements but high blood pressure prevents him from staying on those drugs. I now know this is much more commen in the population after having talked with my doctor. But to get to the point, my husband now enjoys my encreasing muscularity as we workout, he does not know about our my hormone levels though. As it stands now my 17 inch calves are 2 1/2 inches larger than his. My thighs are 5 inches larger at 24 inches mid way up. My biceps are 15 inches and his are 13 1/2. His muscles feel flabby or at least not nearly as hard as mine. Like I said, I didn't know this until about 8 months ago and had no understanding of hormones and menopause until then. I'm enjoying this crazy natural change a lot more because of my strength. Things are changing beteen my husband and I and he is now becoming sexually aroused by my muscles, wanting to feel, see, and finally test his own strength against me. I can drain his strength almost completely by wrestling and pin him during sex and control the intercourse. This experience drives him crazy, something he was shy about at first but when he realized he had no control over me, he not only gave in but soon prefered this! He wants me to oil up and flex as part of foreplay and sex is somewhat like raping him. I know it's weird but he's more horny now and I get turned on too by the way his hands follow my muscles and how he wants to feel them so much. Please I'm just trying to be honest here, I know it's a strange roll reversal but we're one of the happiest couples we know. My husband will spend time with his mouth and tungue on my muscles and drive me up the wall! My muscles are the driving force in our sexual relations and the center of attention for him now. Obviously that makes me want to workout more. As I become stronger and stronger compared to him, it becomes erotic to the both of us and maybe because it's the thought of the "weaker sex girl" not just becoming the "stronger sex" but much stronger than the male. It's like being under a spell says my husband.

I read an article that said try using machinist calipers to measure your arm muscles. Check the diameter of your biceps and triceps will show development more than circumference. Mmm. I bought some for not much money and decided to measure my husband who doesn't workout but plays golf. Interesting because his fully flexed bicep and the width of his triceps are the same at 82 MM. I weight train three days a week for one hour. When I measured my bicep ball it's diameter was 96 MM and my tricep 98 MM! I measured him again and he was not nearly as thick and couldn't stretch the calipers as far as my muscle. My arms are 14 3/4 inches to his 13 1/4. It's the weight training I do. I love having muscles!

My wife and I have a disagreement. We are arguing about whether she has better blood flow in her muscles compared to me. During and especially after workouts she has more veins and the diameter of her veins is much larger compared to mine. Opinion? She has superior blood flow by obvious vein size? She has more endurance than I do and her argument is she has better blood flow in her muscles and proof is her vascularity is providing more muscle engorgement resulting in more work output. Is she right?

Shawana, you go, girl. Challenging him to a test of strength is an excellent way of confirming that his muscles are no match for a well-trained woman. Some men are embarrassed, at least initially, when they learn their wives are physically superior, but it sounds like you have already psychologically prepared him for the outcome by flexing your biceps around him. He will get used to your power and probably even come to enjoy the change in your strength relationship. Good luck as your grow stronger.

OMG! I'm a 46 and my bench press has droped to 175 lbs for single press, that's it and it's droped in the last few years by 25 lbs. I looked at Gayle's youtube and she is benching 230 lbs at AGE 65! She's gaining muscles and strength! One year ago 190 lbs bench. All of her lifts are increasing by so much. I'm a man and I'm fighting to try and maintain my strength but I continue to lose about the same rate this 65 year old woman is gaining! She could crush me!

My husband doesn't exercise. We are in our mid fourties and I've been putting on muscle and have strength training, boxercise, and bodypump {bodybuilding} and I started last summer. Now comparing my muscles to his seems naughty because we are the *weaker sex* but my muscles are bigger! That's what I like, his muscles looking smaller and smaller compared to my muscles is kind of kinky and wrong! I now have an Everlast punching bag I hung on the patio that scares my husband when I beat it up! Yes girls GYM + PROTIEN + CREATINE CLOSES THE STRENGTH GAP FAST! Now my hubby marvels at the new strength gap!

I had a disagreement with my husband on who hase the better muscle condition? I had proved to him my muscles were harder but he would argue! He is only slightly larger than me but softer muscles. A few days ago I said I had more proof. Laying in bed I asked him to rap his thighs around my thigh and give it your hardest squeeze! He did as I flexed my quads and really I felt no effect as he grunted away! My turn and he tightened his right thigh as I wraped my thighs around his and tightened my hamstrings lock rock and the brough the inner tigh muscles to work followed by powering with my quads! My husband yelled out plus I could feel my muscles just go deeper into his thigh and squeeze the contraction right out of his muscles! I thought about what was happening and got a rush of power and continued to use my muscles, I could then feel his quads turn to mush and I held for a minute working on tightening more facinated with my muscles sinking into his and the power I had. My muscles felt good but almost cramped tight when I released his leg it was brusing and showed broken blood vessels! I was not expecting that! It looked like little veins everywhere had exploded! and his whole thigh turned into a black bruse. My legs are alot bigger than his.

Cindy, you have better muscle condition obviously ! The discription of a bruise: A bruise, also called a contusion (pronounced: kun-too-zhen) or an ecchymosis (pronounced: eh-ky-moe-sis), happens when a part of the body is struck and the muscle fibers and connective tissue underneath are crushed but the skin doesn't break. When this occurs, blood from the ruptured capillaries (small blood vessels) near the skin's surface escapes by leaking out under the skin. With no place to go, the blood gets trapped, forming a red or purplish mark that's tender when you touch it ? a bruise. Your muscles are harder than his like you said and your strength allowed you to produce enough pressure on his muscles to rupture the muscle fibers causing his muscles to burst under so much pressure. The bruise is the blood from the ruptured muscle. Your muscles effectivly crushed his muscles! I think that's proof! It's interesting that when he did the squeezing on your leg, he didn't have the muscle conditioning or power to effect your muscles or to bruise yours? Thanks for sharing.

My mother took me to swimming lessons when I was six years old and by eight I was competitive swimming. I continued swimming and by twelve my coach had me lifting weights. I remember when my mother traced my shoulders on my bedroom door and had my older brother stand against the door. My shoulders were ninteen inches while my brother's were only sixteen inches. My muscles were developed so much more than my brother. My mom said to my dad "oh my god look at becky's shoulders" "flex becky" "show your father your muscles" "s**t look at how much bigger she is" mom would say having my brother flex next to me. My father turned pale and I could tell he didn't like what he saw and how mom was going on and on about how I had a better body than my brother. My mom later wanted me to wrestle my brother and encouraged me to do so. Not long after the measuring she insisted that we wrestle. I remember how I drained the strength out of my brother and how it felt so good to feel that happen when we wrestled and how I could overpower him. It seemed interesting because as a girl "we were the weaker sex" and how my mother loved it when I beat my brother and how my father looked so shocked! Now years later I'm in the same situation with my husband who has smaller muscles because I workout and he doesn't. My shoulders are two inches wider than my husband's and with weight training the difference in muscle between him and I is amazing. I enjoy being the stronger sex and widening that gap as time goes bye. My husband can't compete and he knows it now. He doesn't have the genes and when he has exercised he didn't gain any size just toned. I can't help how I feel and I get off on being stronger. I think it's sexy to see my muscles are bigger than his. Seeing is believing I tell him and he gets the same look as my father did when I was stronger than my brother! I also enjoy wearing him down wrestling until he is so weak that he's helpless. I can put him in a hold and let him feel some muscle power when he's been drained of strength. I just get off on feeling him getting weaker and how the wrestling pumps my muscles. I love it when he tells me "I'm too strong" and often what he says when his strength is gone thrills me! He will often struggle with all his might and than fix his eyes on my muscles as he tries harder and harder and seems to forget everything but his struggle. Having his arms pinned down his eyes will shift from my arms to his and back and his expression will start changing while looking at his own biceps with determination and finally a look of utter disapointment when I'm clearly stronger. I will press his arms over his head higher and higher until he looks scared and groans! His joints will start poping and cracking and as I put some power to his stretched arms he'll tell me about pain in a frantic voice. I'll release him but tell him I have a reserve of strength and it's true I have plenty more and remind him of that fact. I've told him that I could tear his muscles or break some bones! That feaks him out! Because I've said that to him when he is pinned he gets scared and can't move at all! I know I've got a cruel streak but I haven't seriously hurt him but I have made him beg a little. I can squeeze him and bruise him as well and I never bruise. Having my bicep tightened on his upper arm left him a bruise but nothing on my upper arm. Biggest bruising is when I had him facing way from me and had his biceps pinned between my calves and my thighs, squated and tightened my calves agaisnt his biceps making mush out of them. I haven't done that again for fear of breaking his upper arms or poping his muscles. Having hard 18 inch calves against his mushy twelve inch arms locked tight with my body weight and calf contraction if you can imagine. Like I said I'm pretty sure I could break the bones or burst his muscles. I've shown him what I can do to a crisp apple buy crushing it instantly the same apples he could stand on! Being the strnger sex is what I like.

I beat my boyfriend on a preacher curl bench a week ago by doing ten reps with 65 lb. barbell. His arms give out at 6-8 reps. This after he bragged about being stronger than me! I want other strength tests! He is real quite now and doesn't say much when I bring it up. How should I ask him to do more strength tests. I have much nicer leg muscles. His look thinner.

Many years ago I showed my husband that he wasn't the one with the muscle in our family. I doubt that he was ever stronger than me but after having two kids my body changed and I beefed up rather easily when I started to work out with weights. As with many other couples with small children the sex got more rare and we drifted apart. One evening we started to play wrestle and we both soon found out that I could dominated my husband rather easily. He was shocked, he really thought that his thin body would have a chance against my sturdy one, he never lifted weights and I did that at least 3-4 times a week. I made him give up a number of times and got really hot from having him at my mercy. When I had him pinned I "took advantage" of him and he just realized I was too strong and let it happen. The sex was the best ever for both of us. I think that many relationships would work better if women were physically stronger, at least it worked for us.

After years of workouts off and on, my husband has not been able to match my legs for muscularity or power. Finally in our fourties my upper body is more muscular than his. Strange because I've really gained muscle in my arms, chest, shoulders, and back in the last couple of years while my husband has declined and lost muscle. This has become fun for me when it comes to wrestling because he's not strong enough to prevent me from beating him!

I am 44 my wife is 41, i have never been able to defeat my wife at wrestling but now in our 40s, its obvious that she is getting stronger and/or i am getting weaker. I use to be able to offer her some competition but now its a lopsided match. Her legs are by far her strongest asset, but her flexibility, speed and ability to for her muscles to wear mine out are all parts of what makes it so lopsided. I am 3 inches taller than her and 30 -35 lbs heavier than her but there is little doubt in our minds whose muscles are the stamina and strength. I love when she uses her legs on me, i get to feel how powerful her scissor holds are and she has never applied 100% of leg strength in fear of causing damage to me. its amazing to me that something so sexy, feminine and soft can have so much hard strong muscle underneath.

Debra: Thanks for your posting! I'm aroused by my wife's muscles. We've just entered our 40s. I was and still am very shy about it with her but she doesn't mind if it has to do with her legs. Her leg muscles are definitely bigger and more solid than mine. She doesn't mind flexing them for me. I get the same feeling as you say your husband describes - being under a spell. However, I'm curious about her arm muscles but she won't flex them for me. I wish she would. My guess is that her biceps are at least as big as mine. I've messaged her arms (unflexed) before and it feels like there is some solid muscle there but like i said, she won't flex them for me. I don't bring it up often but I've been trying for maybe a year to a year and a half to get her to flex her arms for me and she won't. At least I do have her awesome legs to enjoy. I don't even have to ask her to flex her legs. As soon as I touch them she flexes. I love that! Since I've become less shy about admiring her muscles, our sex life has really perked up.

I find reading the stories about some of you women posting here quite fasinating.I have a similar story to some of you.When my husband and I got married 8 years ago I was 22 and he was 27.We were both about similar weight of 140lbs he was 5ft11 and I am 5ft8. I had a very athletic background in highschool and college playing division 1 soccer and girls basketball in college. My legs were always exceptionally strong and muscular much bigger and stronger than my husbands.I would always conciously keep my weight down and not workout our 1st year of marriage to stay feminine and not appear bulkier than my very good looking but slim and unathletic husband.But my big problem was I keep gaining weight at a rate of 10 lbs per year.After getting to 170lbs I started working out with weights and became an obsessed gym rat.MY husbands weight stayed about the same gaining maybe 10 lbs.When we would play tennis I would wipe him off the court and always hit the ball much harder than him.I always suspected that I could kick his ass and physically overpower him in an all out fight.So one night after playing me tennis and losing he said I might be better at tennis but he could still kick my fat ass in a wrestling match or fight.When we got home we wrestled each other and we both were going at each other very competively I rapped my thighs around his waist and scissored him so hard I knocked the wind out of him.I dominated him so completly It felt like I was wrestling a little girl and not a man.My leg strength was way to powerful for him but at the same time we were both suprised at how 1 sided and more powerful I am than him. What I feel best about being stronger is just having the power. I think many men don't realize that a woman can be strong and sometimes stronger then men their size or even bigger. Of course the WWF matches are not wrestling for real but the women wrestling look damned strong to me. I have been working out most of my life, I have been into sports actively and after that I have kept on working out 2-3 times a week at a gym. I got pregnant and grew bigger with the baby, bigger and also stronger. The father of my child left me after a couple of weeks so I have raised the kid alone. I met this new man, a lovely man but rather small, shorter than me and quite a bit lighter, kind of new to me even if I am not a small woman. After a couple of dates we ended up in my bed after being out. I am rather ticklish and he noticed, I warned him to keep on tickling me but he kept on so I took hold of his arms and held him still. To his (and my) surprise he couldn't get loose. He tried more and more but I just held him without too much trouble. I started to realize that I was not only stronger than him, I was a lot stronger. Since that evening we quite often playwrestle, I can pin him with perhaps 50% of my musclepower but we are totally fine with that both of us.

Like many other postings here on like like I can say that wrestling my husband saved our marriage. We became almost un interested in each other, me and my hubby. So thank god he slapped my behind one evening and that I told him not to do it again. My wife and her friends got together about 6 months ago and started going to the gym. All four of them had really worked hard and they were already looking buff and toned up.
