Democrats are hate-driven and power-hungry. They still have not accepted the results of the 2000 election and now want revenge for their defeat. Their only objective is to remove Bush from office, an obsession which blinds them from all other issues other than personal attacks against the commander in chief durring wartime. Democrats do not vote on issues, they vote on emotions, and are usually uninformed. The Democratic candidates are attempting to belittle the importance of national security durring this campaign, which is why it would be very dangerous for one of them to actually get elected.

Samuel I belive that everyone is entitled to an opinion, mine is one of a Democrat. I feel that we would not have to worry as much about our national security as much if our president had not gone and conqured two countries full of radicals

p.s. Where is Osoma?

Those radicals already hate us and have already vowed to destroy us. At least now someone has them on the run. There is no way diplomacy can work with an enemy willing to die in order to kill you. The only way to stop them from killing you is to kill them first. Bin Laden is still at large, but one thing is for certain; he is not happy with George Bush. He has been forced into hiding, and will surely be caught or killed in good time. He is not comfortable or secure in his freedom. Day to day survival is no longer something he can take for granted. I'll bet if you were to ask Osama or Saddam who they would vote for in this election, they would no doubt vote a straight Democratic ticket. I agree with Samuel, Kerry does not have a plan to deal with this issue. The bombings in Madrid are not a call to surrender, they should inspire us to continue cleaning the world of this violent element.

Anyone with any awareness will vote to re-elect Bush, even if they don't like him. I am a Democrat, but I think we nominated the wrong candidate in Kerry. He does not take a stand on anything, and wants to just follow the Europeans. John Kerry is a follower, not a leader. The stakes are too high for that kind of administration.

DuranMar 18 2004 10:32am
The main problem with John Kerry is the fact that he is not decisive about any issues, other than wanting to win the election. Someone who changes his position based on what his audience wants to hear is not going to be clear on what agenda he will impliment. A true leader has an agenda. I see Bush as the only one with a clear agenda.
