The Problem: When you dodge a $1000 repair bill.

Although it doesn't make sense, the mechanic wanted to replace my engine all together, which would cost $3,000 (for just the engine, not including labor), but he only wanted to charge $1,000. Only needed a new alternator belt, only cost me $100.
