[..YouTube..] I'd hazard a guess at this, as I am only 1st year sound prudoction student, and say that you couldï»¿ follow the process as above in the video to remove the vocals. Then in another session, you could phase invert the original track and play it alongside the Vocal Removed version (do not phase invert). The common information should cancel out, in this case the guitar, leaving the vocal (and maybe bass drum and kick drum). Hope that works!

Hi, I just noticed senithomg.The layer that had the multiplier replacement, also had a linear animation.Which was working until i added a multiplier replacement on the same layer.New question: Can I multiplier replacement and a linear animation be applied on the same layer?
